Essential events for charity communicators

Introducing an exciting programme of CharityComms seminars, one-day conferences and workshops on the hottest topics in charity communications. *2011 events will be announced soon*


Seminars:
Each two-hour seminar features expert speakers from the world of charity communications. Our seminars deliver three 30 minute presentations packed with insights, information, ideas and practical suggestions for you to try out. This is ideal if you haven’t got a huge training budget or you can’t take a whole day out of the office. Seminars are free to CharityComms members or £35 + VAT for non-members.

Conferences:
If you’re interested in tackling an area in more depth and finding out how other charities are making a big impact then these full-day events are for you. With a mixture of inspiring plenary slots and smaller group sessions, run by senior figures from the charity, corporate and public sectors, you’ll go back to the office full of ideas. These events give you the space to reflect on your organisation’s current practices. There are also opportunities to take part in speed networking with peers and break time advice surgeries with selected suppliers. Prices are tiered, ranging from £150 + VAT for members to £310 for non-members.

Workshops:
Starting at 9am and finishing at 2pm these intense short-day events pack a lot in! You can expect a smaller number of delegates, allowing you to participate in group learning and discussions. These tailored events are streamed allowing CharityComms to cover the areas most relevant to you and your organisation. The content is focused ensuring you meet and share experiences with peers facing similar issues to you. Prices are tiered, ranging from £150 + VAT for members to £310 for non-members.


Events in 2010:



Marketing on a Shoestring Conference, 2 December 2010, London

This conference will give you expert advice from organisations that have direct experience of using limited resources to create big impact marketing campaigns. We’ll be showing you how to get things right from the start with sessions on stakeholder analysis and how to create and revise mission statements and core messages. We’ll be looking at integration across comms, marketing and fundraising departments and across different marketing channels.

*Multiple place discounts do not apply if your organisation is booking places on different events. Any discounts, including for multiple places, are applied automatically at the time of booking. To get multiple place discounts you must book all places at the same time and on the same online booking form.

**Eligible organisational members of CharityComms receive ONE free place, at ONE CharityComms conference for each year of their membership. Book your place normally, and then email lally@charitycomms.org.uk to nominate your free place (terms apply).

Please note that there is an administration fee of £50 per cancellation if it is received by email more than seven days before the event, after this date the full cost is chargeable.
