Saadia explained why the training was created, how it has made a difference and crucially how other organisations can benefit from a similar course following her template.

Kirsty Kitchen, Account Director, Amazon Public Relations. Kirsty talked about how to deal with a PR crisis. She focussed on how to plan for the things we all hope will never happen, what we can do in advance, and how best to handle things when they do go wrong.

Mark Flannagan, Director of Policy and Communications, Royal College of General Practitioners and Ian MacQuillin, Account Director, Turner PR. Mark and Ian looked at the core skills of charity PR professionals and asked whether we sometimes fail to use them.
