**The seminar is now fully booked - if you would like to be on our reserve list please contact emma@charitycomms.org.uk**
Speakers:
John Grounds, Communications Director at the NSPCC, will be ‘demystifying’ the communications strategy. Many people feel overwhelmed when confronted with the task of creating this essential tool - John will be looking at what makes an effective communications strategy as well as highlighting some of the most common mistakes people make.
Rachel Beer, Marketing and Communications Consultant, will discuss ways that not-for-profit organisations can use social media to engage, influence and affect change. Using examples from charities that are active in this space, Rachel will talk about the opportunities these powerful emerging channels present to spread messages, build communities, fundraise, campaign and build your brand.
Tom Pey, Director of External Affairs at Guide Dogs, will share his organisation’s experience in establishing Guide Dogs as a leading voice for mobility and access with blind and visually impaired people.
