Speakers:

Sara Ashton, Web and New Media Manager, and Fiona McLaren, Online Communities Editor at Amnesty International UK, will be giving a general overview of their organisation's approach to social media. They’ll be looking in particular at how they incorporated Twitter and other channels into their campaign on International Women's Day which called for better services for women facing violence in the UK.

Kevin Baughen, Founder of Bottom Line Ideas. Kevin will show you how every charity, from the smallest to the largest and the newest to the most established, can make sure they build strong awareness and real credibility among their target audiences, without spending a fortune.  He aims to do this by sharing with you a model which can be used to maximise the impact of your key messages across every communications touch point and via every spokesperson.

Jonathan Waddingham, Charity Champion at JustGiving, will be talking about blogs. He’ll be sharing his top tips on how to get started and keep going, how to pitch to a blogger and how to promote your blog. He’ll also be looking at real life examples of good and bad blogs.
