CharityComms is launching a new individual membership scheme aimed at communications staff working in the charity sector. The purpose of this scheme is to provide benefits that will help individuals develop their career. For £85 a year, members can enjoy a range of activities including free entry to all CharityComms monthly seminars as well as a discounted price on all places at CharityComms conferences. Membership also offers exclusive access to the CharityComms continuing professional development (CPD) scheme and mentoring programme, as well as a discount on subscriptions to Third Sector magazine.

The scheme has evolved from CharityComms’ experience over the past two years. CharityComms has been holding monthly seminars during this time, covering a range of charity communications topics, from how to make your publications stand out to how to rebrand on a budget. CharityComms also hosts six conferences a year providing expert advice, information and case studies to inspire excellent charity communications.

CharityComms continues to receive excellent feedback on all of the events and services that it provides, reflecting the demand for such services within the sector. The CharityComms membership scheme will strengthen the charity sector through forming a strong community of informed professionals.

Joe Saxton, Chair of CharityComms says “We are delighted to launch the CharityComms individual membership scheme as an extension of the CharityComms mission to support communications staff and volunteers working in large and small charities and non-governmental organisations.”

CharityComms is a professional body for charity sector communications from internal communications and publishing to media relations, marketing communications and new media, as well as reputation and crisis management. Every charity communicates. CharityComms helps those responsible for communications both internally and externally. CharityComms believes that charity communications are integral to each charity’s work for a better world.
