We are a co-operative of film-makers with extensive BBC backgrounds and whether it's a DVD or a simple podcast Films.Gb will give free and impartial advice by email or telephone regarding potential costs. We do not employ salespeople or market ourselves aggressively.
Why are You Recommending this?
Because we have experience of making films for charitable bodies and are painfully aware that when they approach video production companies a vast range of different costs are quoted and it is very difficult to 'see the wood for the trees' so to speak.
We'd like to see impartial and honest advice given by broadcast professionals as regards costs - especially when budgets are tight.
We are (within reason) willing to host video for free to help charities promote their message.
I can give references if need be - we're terribly honest (and consequently rubbish business-people).
