New trustee announcement

CharityComms is pleased to announce that we will have two new trustees joining our board in March.

Mark Russell and Stephen Critoph will be taking up the positions of chair and treasurer, adding their passion and enthusiasm for the charity sector to that of our existing board.

While we will be sad to say goodbye to our current chair John Grounds and our existing treasurer Louisa Dallmeyer we are excited to welcome Mark and Stephen to our team and look forward to working with them from March onwards.

Mark is a seasoned marketing and communications practitioner who comes to us with valuable experience gained from six years as first trustee and then chair on the board of the Cleft Lip and Palate Association.

Incoming chair of trustees Mark Russell

I’m very privileged to be joining the CharityComms team and Trustee Board at such an important time, as charities and NFPs continue to grapple with how best to build and maintain trust, communicate their stories and the impact they have on beneficiaries, justify costs, and grow engagement among volunteers and supporters.

Above all, I am looking forward to learning from Adeela and her team, my fellow trustees, and most importantly, from CharityComms members and subscribers, who do such invaluable work, often at the cutting edge of communications with the tightest of budgets.”

Meanwhile chartered accountant Stephen will be joining us from the world of independent business consultancy and brings with him a strong track record of leading communications with investors and other stakeholders.

Stephen Critoph

I am delighted to be joining the Board of CharityComms. In today’s world excellent and professional communication by Charities has never been more important. I am looking forward to working with the team in pursuing this objective.”
