Reporting to:
Senior data analyst/director of operations
Role purpose:
To support the data analytic requirements of the organisation, including targeting and understanding individual customers/members for campaigns and reporting on the outcomes in achieving specific business objectives. The data analyst will convey their analysis in a range of engaging ways to senior management and sometimes clients or the public, and assist in the delivery of new technologies to help the organisation achieve its aims.
Key responsibilities:
- Play an integral part in planning campaigns by recommending data and strategies based on your data analysis and previous experience
- Produce analysis after campaigns to feed back to teams, ensuring the method used is transparent
- Ensure data meets the organisation’s needs
- Work with teams across the organisation to develop KPI reports to monitor success
- Handle management data analysis and where applicable contract compliance by external providers
- Train other staff in the use of the information systems
- Be able to stay up to date with developments in database marketing, including via networking with other organisations, and assist in the implementation of new ideas which will improve the organisation’s data capacity, especially automation of basic data tasks
- Pro-actively flag any issues with data analysis or the system, working with software suppliers and other support services
- Work within the Data Protection Act
