More than a meal, our bi-annual lunches are an opportunity to meet with senior communications peers, to discuss issues having an impact on your work, and to make contacts. The event is ideal for informal networking, but we also aim to discuss an issue that we believe will impact on some or all of our members. Topics from previous lunches include: the role of the comms team in times of austerity, managing brand in the social age and working with policy.
These lunches are exclusive events for our organisational members.
“There are at least three reasons why these lunches are a brilliant idea. Firstly, it’s just so nice to share with people who are in the same boat and to recognise that we all have the same challenges and frustrations. Secondly, it's great to hear from other charities about the advances they are making, and it's fantastic to be part of a sector that is using the latest communications thinking and technology to do good. Thirdly, the lunches unfailingly deliver really useful contacts that I couldn't realistically have met anywhere else. Not to mention the excellent food…”
