This Brand Showcase brings the CharityComms community together to share real examples of brand work in practice. Hear from peers about what sparked their brand projects, how they navigated key decisions, and what they learned along the way. Through honest case studies and open discussion, this session offers practical insight and reassurance for anyone thinking about evolving their brand, or already in the middle of it.

10:05 - 10:35 | Brand equity… but is it? What’s real, what’s nostalgia and what’s worth keeping Brand equity can feel subjective. The perceived recognition in brand assets can make stakeholders feel reluctant to change, even if standing still is costing you. But inadvertently throwing out hard earned reputation and recognition can be a big mistake. So how do you distinguish between internal nostalgia and genuine audience value. We’ll unpack what brand equity actually means, how to look at it objectively and how to plot a course that keeps the best of what you’ve got, without holding you back. |
10:35 - 10:50 | Peer to peer networking Time to connect with your peers, using Zoom breakout rooms. |
10:50 - 11:20 | Presentation by MND Association In January 2026 the MND Association delivered a comprehensive rebrand – the first time it had done so since 2009. Having doubled in income since 2019, the Association knew that the rebrand was an essential lever in driving increased awareness and ultimately in delivering its 2030 objectives -to reach £50M and drive more research, more support and greater advocacy for people affected my motor neurone disease In this presentation Siobhan will take us through the re-brand journey from start to finish and aim to answer some key questions for anyone grappling with their brand, or about to embark on a rebrand journey themselves.
