Charity social media teams are under constant pressure to post more, often without more time, budget or support. This session focuses on content lifecycles and how to plan, adapt and reuse content so it works harder across channels, campaigns and time, without feeling repetitive or inauthentic. Rather than chasing constant new ideas, we’ll explore how to stretch existing content, reduce burnout, and create more consistent social storytelling.
Charity marketing and communications teams are under constant pressure to create fresh content, but the biggest opportunity is often hiding in what you’ve already produced. This session shows how to get more impact from your existing blogs, reports, events and stories through simple planning, smart repurposing and better systems. You’ll leave with practical ideas to stretch your content further, reach more people, and keep your messaging clear and consistent with your mission. The talk will end with a Q&A. Being on brand and reactive as a charity can be a challenge. But more organisations are proving it’s possible to break through social algorithms, join cultural conversations, and reach new audiences with content that’s bold, timely, and mission‑driven. At Plan International UK, we’ve built practical ways of working that help our team spot opportunities, jump on trends, and create social‑first content that amplifies our brand in meaningful ways. In this session, we share the good and bad of what we’ve learnt and how any charity can build the confidence and processes to do the same. The talk will end with a Q&A.
