How can you engage with journalists and put your charity’s cause across in the media, when there is no hard news angle?

In this session, Janelle Butterfield and Liam Colman, senior media and PR officer at Macmillan Cancer Support used examples of their work to talk practically about the different methods of engaging and building relationships with consumer media and bloggers, as well as the pros and cons of each.

About the PR Network

CharityComms’ PR Network is a group for professionals working in PR and media in UK charities and not-for-profits.

Each event focuses on a different topic related to PR and/or media with a presentation, group discussions and networking.
