IT vs Digital

In an increasing UX and audience-led world, IT directors and digital leads have to work closely together and often have the same level of influence in digital projects. The event will explore questions like:

  • Where does the responsibility lie with sourcing and developing an organisational project – who should lead?
  • What is the role of IT and digital in selecting Cloud based products?
  • How do you balance the kinds of data digital would like to collect on the front-end with the data policies and structures put in place and managed by IT for internal systems?

  • What impact has the raised profile of PCI compliance and protection of transactional data had on your relationship with the IT department?

  • What issues do you see around the suspension of the Safe Harbour agreement and protection of European citizens data?

About Heads of Digital

This networking group is exclusively for heads of digital working in UK charities and not-for-profits with a turnover of more than £5 million.

The format of the evening is networking over wine and canapes followed by a round-table discussion, led by our excellent facilitators, feeding into the group as a whole.

The group meets three times a year to discuss strategic issues facing digital leads at large charities. The group is designed to encourage networking and peer-to-peer support, sharing issues in a 'safe' and relaxed environment. These events are for heads of digital only as we will be discussing strategic issues.

To book onto this event or to be added to the Heads of Digital mailing list please contact Harriet Smith.
