#CharityPR

Join us for a chance to share your experience of working in PR since the Coronavirus crisis began, connect you with your peers, and provide support to each other at this challenging time.

We’ll share emerging themes we have heard from you and the wider sector. Everyone will be invited to share their experiences, discuss issues and ask questions. Together, we will work to identify needs and how we can help you and your teams. We will also launch our new private online community where you can continue the discussion and support each other.

Aceil Haddad, co-founder of the Community PR Initiative, will tell us about how a group of volunteer PR practitioners have launched an initiative to provide free communications support to charities and public sector organisations that are struggling against the background of coronavirus, lockdown and staff on furlough.

About the PR Network

CharityComms’ PR Network is a group for professionals working in PR and media in UK charities and not-for-profits.

The PR Network gives you the chance to meet your peers, compare notes on workplace practices and share successes, ideas, challenges and inspiration. The network is designed to encourage networking and peer to peer support, sharing issues in a ‘safe’ environment.

The group meets three times a year to focus on a common challenge. The format of the meetings is one or two presentations on a specific topic, followed by small group discussions, providing a combination of best practice and peer-to-peer sharing.
