Persuading senior leadership to give you that extra cut of budget, or to understand the value in a project you’re working on can seem like a mountain to climb. So how can you take on those gatekeepers and score a win for comms at your organisation?
In this session, we heard from comms folk who have achieved buy-in at their organisation, and experts who have helped comms teams demonstrate value to make a compelling case. We pulled out the lessons they learned and considering how you can make the case at your own organisation. We then went into discussion groups where we applied these learnings to a real-life business case, putting the tips and tricks into action.

About the North West Networking Group
The North West networking group is a network of comms professionals working in UK charities and not-for-profit organisations in the North West of England.
Meeting three times a year in Manchester, each event focuses on a different comms topic with presentations, group discussions and networking. These events are a great opportunity to meet your peers, compare notes on workplace practices and share successes, ideas, challenges and inspiration. The group is designed to encourage networking and peer-to-peer support, sharing issues in a ‘safe’ and relaxed environment.
