Producing effective digital content from home
The question of how we can produce effective digital content ourselves is now more relevant than ever. This event will be an opportunity to learn from expert digital producers about how we can tell our stories effectively from home – including making short videos and encouraging user-generated content from our communities.
There will also be the usual opportunity to chat about the particular challenges of our current situations, benefiting as always from the ‘hive mind’ that is the wonderful SW Networking Group. Like most events, we’ve moved online and will be using Zoom for this session.
Presentations were filmed in June 2020 at the CharityComms SW Network Event, but are not necessarily region-specific.
Techniques for Lockdown Storytelling There are many ways to capture fresh content and tell amazing stories, even with social distancing measures. This session will look at tech and techniques that can help you. Catherine Raynor, director, Mile 91 | |

About the South West networking group
The South West networking group is a network of comms professionals working in UK charities and not-for-profit organisations in the South West of England and Wales.
Meeting three times a year in Bristol, each event focuses on a different comms topic with presentations, group discussions and networking. These events are a great opportunity to meet your peers, compare notes on workplace practices and share successes, ideas, challenges and inspiration. The group is designed to encourage networking and peer-to-peer support, sharing issues in a ‘safe’ and relaxed environment.
Booking will open approx. six weeks before the event. If you’d like to be one of the first to hear about these events, please email events@charitycomms.org.uk to be added to the mailing list.
If you’re interested in presenting at this event (or at a future event) or joining the steering group, please email Vanessa.
