Courageous conversations are essential if we are working interdependently. We must feel able to make requests, give and receive feedback and say no when needed. In order for us to feel confident having such conversations we first need to understand who we are, what our role truly covers, what we feel passionately about, what we value and what our boundaries are.
This workshop offers attendees the chance to really look at themselves, their role, their values and their boundaries, and from there learn the tools to have courageous and empowered conversations that might ordinarily feel difficult.
Attendees will:
- Learn what boundaries look like and how to implement them
- Gain a greater sense of self-awareness about what’s important to them.
- Learn how to give and receive feedback
- Walk away feeling equipped to have courageous conversations.
About Bird
Bird delivers resilience coaching and webinars to those working in any kind of supportive organisation, helping teams and individuals to build resilience, prioritise self-care, and feel energised and empowered in all that they do. We believe self-care is a priority not a luxury, and that we can only work sustainably if we have the space and support to self-reflect and take care of ourselves and each other in the workplace.
This session will be led by Elloa Barbour, facilitator and coach at Bird.
