Looking for a campaign planner and briefing template?
When it comes to charity communications it feels like there is always far more to do than there is ever time for. One area which is certainly non-stop right now is campaigning.
So, whether you need to create a new fundraising or awareness campaign, set up a new social push or any other sort of new campaign action let us give you a head start. Our new campaign brief template and campaign planner document are designed to help make your life easier by giving you a starting point from which to build and adapt to your own specific needs.
Use our templates, based on some of the best bits from charity examples that have been shared on charity websites, to start developing your own campaign and brief today.
Simply adapt the relevant parts of the template to fit your organisation and update the branding.
Tips for using this template:
- This template should be used as a guide and should be flexed in the way that best fits you. So be bold, be brave and set the deadlines that work for you whilst being willing to flex if there is a need.
- Different types of campaigns will of course have different pinch points and measures of success, embrace these and don’t let them put you off aiming high with your goals.
- Sometimes you’ll need to go back and reiterate before you get to launch. This is perfectly normal so we suggest taking an agile approach where you allow for going back and forth over different steps of the brief and planner when you need to – just make sure you block out time to allow you to do this.
Download the new campaign brief template and campaign planner document today and let us know what you think! We can’t wait to hear about all the campaigns that you run using it in future.
These templates were created as a direct response to requests from the CharityComms membership for specific templates that would be useful for their teams. We hope it will be the first of many more to come. With special thanks to Matt Chittock who created these templates on behalf of CharityComms.
