Power Hour Prize Draw
1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the CharityComms’ Power Hour Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”). By entering, you agree to these Terms.
1.2. The “Promoter” is CharityComms, Registered address: ATLAS Chambers, 33 West Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 2RE. Postal address: Canopi, 82 Tanner Street, London SE1 3GN.
1.3. This Prize Draw is not sponsored by Well and Good Coaching (“Coaching Organisation”) and/or Helen Didymus-True (the “Coach”). CharityComms has fairly compensated the Coach for their time.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Prize Draw is open to all individuals who:
*Are registered attendees and/or ticketholders of the CharityComms Strategic Communicators’ Conference or have followed our free entry conditions.
* Are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
* Work in-house at a registered charity in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland within a communications role and have a registered number with the relevant authority.
* Have opted-in to the Prize Draw via the “Prize Draw Form” (the designated method outlined in section 3. 2.2) or put in a request for a “Free Entry Draw”.
Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, suppliers or corporate or freelancer members, and immediate family members of such connections, are not eligible to enter the Prize Draw.
2.3. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose.
2.4. Entrants may be required to provide proof of their employment at a registered charity via the Prize Draw Form with their email address and their role in communications.
2.5 The Prize Draw is open to in-house charity workers only to support charities with opportunities for learning and growth. Any feedback on our approach should be emailed to comms@charitycomms.org.uk.
3. Entry
3.1. To enter the Prize Draw, eligible conference attendees must opt-in via the Prize Draw Form which will be sent in event instructions and on-demand emails. It will open on 22 April 2025 and will close on 9 May 2025, 5pm.
3.2 We offer a Free Entry process for the Prize Draw for those eligible entrants. Email requests must be sent to comms@charitycomms.org.uk with the title “Power Hour Prize Draw” and the Prize Draw Form will be supplied within two working days. The following timelines noted for the Prize Draw Form will apply.
3.3 Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
3.4 Entries must be received by Friday 9 May 2025, 5pm to be valid. The form will close around this time, but any entries received after this time will not be accepted.
3.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, partially filled or delayed, regardless of the cause.
3.6 Unless following the Free Entry process, participation in the prize draw is dependent on ticket purchase and will be checked via the Promoters’ CRM system.
3.7 If following the Free Entry process, your details will be stored in our CRM for prize draw purposes only and a record of your participation.
4. The Prize
4.1. The Prize is a “Power Hour” session with Helen Didymus-True at Well and Good Coaching (the “Prize”).
4.2. The Power Hour session will consist of one pre-session briefing and one coaching session and will be conducted virtually as agreed with the Coach.
4.3. The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available.
4.4. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
4.5. The date and time of the Power Hour session will be agreed upon by the Winner and the Coach subject to availability and should be set within 18 months of winning.
4.6. The Winner is responsible for any expenses incurred in connection with claiming the Prize, unless explicitly stated otherwise. The Promoter does not foresee any costs to the Winner.
4.7. The Power Hour session is subject to the terms and conditions of Well and Good Coaching (The Coaching Organisation).
4.8. Any additional services requested outside of the Power Hour session will be at the cost of the Winner. If the Winner decides to continue the coaching relationship with the Coach and the Coach’s Organisation, this would be a separate agreement between the Coach, Coach’s Organisation and the Winner.

5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The Winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date and time.
5.2. The Winner will be drawn on 12 May 2025 by a random number generator where each entry is given a number.
5.3. The Winner will be notified by email within two working days of the draw (14 May 2025).
5.4. If the Winner does not respond or does not claim the Prize with the Coach within five working days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative Winner.
5.5. Should the Promoter receive an out of office message, the claim window will be changed to five working days from their return date.
6. Publicity
6.1. By accepting the Prize, the Winner will be asked to participate in reasonable publicity as requested by the Promoter, which may include the use of their name, image, and likeness in promotional materials.
6.2. The Winner is open to the Promoter using their name and organisation for the purpose of announcing the Winner of the Prize Draw across their channels.
6.3 Should the Winner not want to share their details, the Promoter will ask for anonymised versions for publication for promotion purposes and to satisfy competition best practices.
7. Data Protection
7.1. The Promoter will collect and process personal data from entrants for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw and fulfilling the Prize.
7.2. The Promoter will comply with all applicable data protection laws.
7.3. Personal data will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary for the administration of the Prize Draw or the Promoter’s existing databases (e.g., sharing the Winner’s contact details with the Coaching Organisation [Well and Good Coaching] for claiming the Prize, the email scheduling software or the CRM).
7.4. By entering the Prize Draw, you consent to the Promoter using and processing your data as specified within this section.
7.5 The Promoter will store your participation in the competition on their CRM. They will only use your email to update you on competition results and will not use it for any other purposes unless you are part of existing subscriber lists.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal liability suffered or sustained as a result of participating in the Prize Draw or accepting the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8.2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any technical issues, system failures, or other problems that may result in lost or corrupted entries.
8.3 Any third-party channels The Promoter uses for promotion (e.g. social media) are not liable for anything in relation to the competition. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with LinkedIn, Bluesky, X or Meta.
9. General
9.1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or to cancel or modify the Prize Draw at any time without notice.
9.2. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters relating to the Prize Draw.
9.3. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
9.4. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction.
9.5. The Promoter must be able to provide evidence that a prize was awarded. The Promoter will follow the procedures outlined in Section 6.
9.6. The Promoter will uphold standards for a fair and honest competition to ensure any actions that the Promoter takes does not cause unneeded disappointment to members, conference ticket holders and all other entrants.
