Close your eyes, take a deep breath and pause to think for a minute. Now answer this question… who do you know who is amazing, inspiring and deserves some well-earned time in the spotlight?
Come on, we all know someone who deserves some recognition for just how fabulous they are. Whether it’s a colleague who goes above and beyond, an industry peer you’ve admired from afar, or even a work friend who is a joy to be around, we’ve all got people around us that deserve to be celebrated.
That’s right, it’s time to put pen to paper and tell us about the amazing people who inspire you, and your work, as we are officially opening up nominations for 2019’s Inspiring Communicator Awards.
We are asking you to tell us about a third sector communicator who inspires you, and that you want everybody else to know about. So grab the opportunity to shout from the rafters about a campaigner/ fundraiser/ volunteer/ champion of your charitable cause whose amazing and inspiring work has left a lasting impact on you.
Here’s the tricky bit though – you can only pick one person and you have just 400 words in which to condense your nominee’s excellence into. So come on, rise to the challenge and tell us why your nominee deserves an award and help us to spotlight the people who tirelessly work towards creating real change in the charity community and society as a whole.
Still umming and ahhing? Well here’s a couple of reasons why your 400 word inspiring communicator nomination is important…
We could all do with some positivity in our lives
A little bit of positivity goes a long way. Celebrating others is a great way to share some happiness and bask in something good. Plus noticing and highlighting how great someone is makes both them and you feel good.
You might get to put your glad rags on
Every year we host a special night to celebrate our inspiring communicator awards winners, giving an opportunity to get all dressed up and ready to mingle. Winners and their guests will have the chance to be honoured for their hard work in front of other CharityComms members, and come on who doesn’t love the chance to have a fun night out with friends both old and new?
