Our first session looked at the relationship between comms and fundraising. So often there is a disconnection between the two teams and yet the key to a charity's success is to raise funds, and in doing this they must communicate their impact and cause successfully. Laura and Jenny from Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation shared their experience and ideas in this area.
Our second session looked at awareness campaigns. Chris from Hft shared top tips on making campaigns work on a big, small or non-existent budget, drawing from his own experience of planning and rolling out awareness campaigns including International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
