Digital is everything. It can save us time and money, increase donations and grow our impact. To stay relevant our charities must embark on a journey to digital maturity.
Digital leadership is arguably the most essential component for driving digital transformation. Charity leaders, from trustees and CEOs to senior management teams, must be brave, bold, open to change and enthusiastic about taking risks. They must be forward-thinking, understand how digital can help the charity achieve its goals and not be afraid to make changes to achieve this.
At this Heads of Digital meeting, we explored what makes a great digital leader, the barriers to digital maturity, and how we can educate and empower our charity leaders to pave the way for culture change in the digital age.

About the Heads of Digital
This networking group is exclusively for heads of digital working in UK charities and not-for-profits with a turnover of more than £2 million.
The format of the evening is networking followed by round-table discussion, led by our excellent facilitators, feeding into the group as a whole.
The group meets three times a year to discuss strategic issues facing digital leads at large charities. The group is designed to encourage networking and peer-to-peer support, sharing issues in a ‘safe’ and relaxed environment.
Exclusive to heads of digital/digital leads working in UK charities and not-for-profits with a turnover of more than £2 million (CharityComms charity members only)
If you’d like to be one of the first to hear about these events please contact Vanessa Weddell to be added to the Heads of Digital mailing list.
